We celebrated Remy’s first birthday back in Illinois, at Pinstripes in Oak Brook. We had over 100 of our family and friends there, most of them meeting Remy for the very first time. Remy got to meet his great grandma for the first time, along with all the baby cousins and friends.

We held it at Pinstripes in Oakbrook. I worked for months organizing all the details, the decor, the party favors. I even got M&Ms with his little cute face on them. The balloon wall was a hit! I worked with a vendor called Balloons by Gil. She was fantastic and got my vision spot on! The candy cart was a nice touch too. And the cake. I absolutely loved the cake – with the little planets on them. I don’t know how I will be able to top this party, but that’s for another day.

I was really excited to get to through such a big party for him. Truthfully, this party was more for me. 😀 As a celebration of this new chapter, and a celebration of making it through some of the challenges I had during (more like after) pregnancy. Needless to say, here are the pictures!
