My dad visited us in California during the second week of August. We thought it would be nice for him to come / help us pack up. We are moving to Arizona over Labor Day weekend so we’re trying to do some last bits of sightseeing in California before we head out.

The first weekend my dad got there, we went to Pebble Beach – golf capital of the US. Dad got some memorabilia and photos. We sat and had lunch by the beach, it was a perfect weather day.

Then we went to the Oakland Zoo another weekend. It was SUPER hot outside, so we didn’t bother with the aerial tram. We saw an OK amount of animals, definitely more than we saw at SF Zoo. Remy and RJ matched in their Johnny Cupcake shirts.
